This how to video describes the process I used to clean my heat exchanger on my sailboat using Barnacle Buster.
This is one example of how a boat looks half of it had been cleaned and zincs changed. This half took over 5 hours because of the size of the boat and the amount of metal and growth that had occurred on all the metal under the boat.

Underwater Hull Cleaning A major cost of operating a ship is the cost of fuel. Any reduction in fuel consumption will result in a direct and proportional reduction in operating costs. Since up to 70% of a ship's propulsive energy is needed to overcome hydrodynamic resistance (friction), keeping the hull and propeller surfaces smooth will minimize waste and improve the speed and/or distance to be gained from burning a barrel of fuel. Underwater cleaning has other economic advantages besides those associated with propulsion efficiency. Unclogging fouled suction grates improves the flow of water to internal machinery and reduces pump wear. Cleaning the hull regularly prevents biofouling buildup, thereby lengthening the effective life of the anti-foulant coating and sustaining the anti-corr...

My compass was all fogged up and yellow in the inside which rendered it useless. I decided to try and take apart myself and perhaps save some money and save a perfectly working compass. It might need calibration after the install. I will let you know.
The Envirocart is capable of removing, capturing and containing marine biofouling from biocidal and biocide-free underwater coatings without damage to the hull or hull coating system. The Envirocart incorporates shrouded cleaning disks that contour to flat, curved or convex hull surfaces. When fitted with patented non-contact system we have the ability to clean primary and early secondary stage fouling from the hull surface without damaging the Anti Fouling Coat. The contactless system can be lowered into contact with the hull for heavier second stage macro bio fouling. A range of complimentary hand tools have been developed for cleaning and capture of biofouling material from niche areas (anodes, sea suction grates, propellers etc.) and other irregularly shaped underwater appendages and...

https://globecore.com/contacts.html. With the growing power of electrical equipment there is a growing importance of oil degassing, i.e. the extraction of gas from the oil. Apart from degassing, another transformer maintenance procedure is vacuum treatment which extends transformer service life and improves reliability of the insulation system. These maintenance services are recommended by the manufacturers of transformer equipment. They make transformer drying and degassing of transformer oil number one1 rule of transformer operation and servicing. That is why degassing of transformer oil is essential for reliable power supply. Oil loses its performance characteristics over time. It needs regular processing to remove moisture, dissolved gases and various contaminants. A new, more viable ...

The air conditioning water flow for the unit we use most was noticeably less than the other. It was only generating a 3 degree drop. Yes, the strainer and thru hull were clear. Bought this little 300 gph pump. Connected 5/8 inch lines to the AC unit. The unit's output went to the bucket. Input to the output side of the pump. Input to the pump went to the bucket. We put 2 gallons of water in the bucket and turned on the pump. While the water was pumping, the water remained clear. We added 16 ounces of muriatic acid, ran the pump for 15 minutes and this is what we got. Also resulted in 10 degree temperature drop as opposed to previous 3 degrees!
